David Thorpe

I came across the work of this guy a few years back now when on a visit to the Saatchi Gallery in LOndon and thought it was pretty cool and completely forgot about it. Until now.
I am particularly looking at his building and silhouette pieces. He creates these amazing pieces just using card in a sort of collage fashion.
I am taking inspiration form this to incorporate into my visual language "what is a line" brief.

Chema Madoz

I find her style of photography and manipulation really clever and is really visually pleasing.
Just the technique of taking everyday objects and manipulating them in such a way to make them take on a completely different form really interests me and is something i may consider trying out and experimenting with in the future.

Paul M Smith

This is the work of controversial London photographer Paul M Smith.
His is all about everyday photography manipulation. Photos that makes you second glance.
His portfolio is quite interesting and he works with a  broad range of environments and figures.

Rut Blees Luxemburg

Again i stumbled across his work in a book.
I like his work with slow shutter speeds of traffic and urban environments.
I can relate this to my photography elective work and for further projects and experiments.

Beat Struuli

I came across this particular photographers works when just flicking through a book in the library  and though it was quite interesting.
He takes pictures of people going about their everyday lives and they are non the wiser to having their pictures taken. He then presents these photos on a  large scale billboard type set up in cities or places of public activity.
